“NEW BAG” – ONE OF THE BEST INDEPENDENT RAP ALBUMS OF 2019

Pops Jr. unveils his latest album, “New Bag”, to the world. On first listen, the early thought that jumped to mind was that I hoped Pops Jr. was not going to become another one of rap’s most underrated artists. Fifteen tracks deep, “New Bag” is huge in scope, ambitious and easily one of the best independent rap albums of 2019. From the moment the album opens with “Gthfu”, Pops Jr.’s messages are coupled by gut-wrenching, stream-of-consciousness accounts – from injustices to insecurities and defiance, as well as redemption and ambition, giving insight into the artist’s mindset. No doubt, “New Bag” heralds yet another proud release from the O.M.G Entertainment Inc., label.

Exciting New Artist Pops Jr. to Release the Official Video for His Single “#neavhate”

Pops Jr. has continued to establish himself as a force to reckon with in the industry, using his deep yet comical songs to carve a niche for himself in the music industry. Pops Jr. hails out of Washington State Home of Legal Buds, Rainy Skies, and Liberal Coffee Shops. The talented act has brought a twist to the hip hop world, offering a light-hearted realism with a touch of some sort of acceptance to show that Hip Hop can be more than just being lit and oblivious of the issues today.
The gifted vocalist, producer, and song writer offers a sound reminiscent of the song structure obtainable in the G funk era over modern production. Pops Jr. aims to redirect the hip hop culture and his songs have continued to reiterate this goal with the support of a solid indie label, O.M.G Entertainment, Inc.
One of his songs titled “Ugly Ass America” is a perfect illustration of his style of music, containing a scathing yet powerful message that talks about police brutality, justice system reform, and racism. The song pulls no punches and is certainly not for someone looking to hold hands and hide within the safety of hypocrisy as Pops Jr. single-handedly dismantles the entire ideology of the nationalistic pride of the American Justice System.
Obsessed with originality, Pops Jr. combines pain and laughter to offer a unique mix of comedic bars and raw emotions. Unlike any other rapper, Pops draws his inspiration from the likes of James Brown and is hugely influenced by soul artistes from the 70s, which probably explains his style of music and delivery.
“#neavhate” is the first song off Pops’ upcoming album titled “New Bag” and offers lovers of good music the creativity and ingenuity that have become the trademark of Pops Jr.

[Video] Popsjr - Wash State

Pops Jr. has released his first video and single "Wash State"... This Dark Yet colorful shout-out anthem pretty much sums up the attitude and reflects the real gritty grind of the other side of the map seldom discussed in Hip Hop and music circles.. The O.M.G Entertainment Rapper goes into story mode melodically and almost comedic taunting the audience about how real the streets are out in the streets of a small lesser known place called Everret, Washington. You can clearly hear the West Coast influence especially when he goes into his Nate Dogg influenced "We Still smoke on Hey Everyday like Nate Dogg... Ill lay all them bustas down and let my gat explode".. Pops Jr. Makes it very clear in this video that the Dogg Pound and Snoop Dogg Influence is present heavily... as He takes us through a tour of the local Marijuana Dispensary "The Bud Hut"... There is a very clear message here. Washington State is about to be put on the Map and its going to be done by the lesser known indie sector in which is showing nationally that these indie labels aren't backing down when it comes to visuals and production. Enjoy "Wash State" performed by Pops Jr. ~G. Webb
